Labor Day Weekend!

It started off with the football game! See previous post :)
Then it ventured into working outside around the house, and it didn't stop until after 9pm Monday night.
This was just the beginning!
Sunday I trimmed up this tree, I trimmed up all of my flowers, I weed eated, I mowed the lawns, I washed 3 dogs and gave them all hair cuts, I had lunch with my mom, I went with Seth to get his haircut, and I came home and crashed!
Monday I woke up & trimmed 6 more trees, I canned 16 jars of Dilly Beans, and did a lot of clean up outside.
Tuesday, I am sore. But the outside of my house looks the best it has since we moved there. So the hard work paid off!
Hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend!!!

OOOOooooooo-SSSSSsssssss-UUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuu!

It was HOT, The Beavers didn't show up until the 4th quarter, and we were a little late to tailgate.
But it was fun, and we were together, and it was his first college game, and I loved, every moment of it! ♥

Crawdads!

Living on property with a creek makes for some good crawdad catching.
Last year Seth bought a few traps and would catch them and cook them every night. We started that this year as well, only after about a week, built a live well. This is so we can catch them, and then place them into the live well that goes back into the creek so they can live and then when we get quite a few we are going to have a big crawdad feed & BBQ. Here is what we have in there so far. There are a little over 60 in here right now, although it doesn't look that way!

USA! USA! USA!

Remember 1999?! I do! As an avid soccer player since the age of 3 I remember how excited I was that the womens team won the World Cup! I was even lucky enough to watch them play on their victory tour afterwards in Portland. I don't follow soccer as much anymore, but today's game is special. And as I snuggle up on the couch on this rainy dreary day, the Fifa Womens World Cup is on TV, I get to tell my hubby all my old soccer stories, and about the players on the 99' team. And my crazy obsession with Mia Hamm, from cleats, to jerseys to anything with the #9 on it.
Go Teams USA!!!

Guilty Pleasure-Reality TV

I'll be the first to admit, I am obsessed with reality TV!
Currently one of my most favorite shows is on
Do you watch?
Between this and just about any reality show on MTV I have a show on just about every night!
Thank goodness for DVR.
I don't sit and watch TV everynight in the summer so it's nice to have it all recording to watch as I have time. :)
It's almsot Friday! WOOHOO!
